Business Problem: End-of-life Brocade SAN hardware required consolidation and modernization.
Project Scope: Designing and implementing a modern SAN platform.
Designing a state-of-the-art 1000-port platform based on Brocade SAN Directors to consolidate and unify fragmented SAN switches.
Making a key architectural decision to remove fabric routing, reducing system complexity and streamlining SAN operations.
Leading workshops with clients to showcase anticipated SAN performance improvements and negotiate service windows for hardware cable swaps to integrate new SAN fabrics.
My Deliverables: Delivered an upgraded Shared SAN environment in the Danish Data Center, achieving cost savings, increased bandwidth, simplified operations, and improved onboarding efficiency for BaU teams.
