My Project Role:

Business Problem: PCI DSS standards requirements.

Project Scope: Meeting PCI DSS compliance requirements by designing a dedicated Event Management and Monitoring instance.

  • Taking over the project midway by thoroughly analyzing documentation and understanding the current project phase.

  • Making a key architectural decision to integrate a NetScaler Load Balancer to manage critical non-redundant flows, aligning with PCI DSS compliance requirements for data security and reliability.

  • Coordinating the creation of ~15x AIX LPARs to establish a dedicated event management and monitoring instance, ensuring a seamless transition with minimal disruption.

  • Assessing functional and non-functional requirements to ensure alignment with IBM's GSMA (Global Systems Management Architecture) standards.

My Deliverables: PCI DSS-compliant monitoring environment, enabling the client to meet regulatory standards and maintain secure operations.
